At Soledad Community Health Care District, we are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to everyone, regardless of immigration status. We understand the concerns that can arise in a mixed-status community, and we want to reassure you:

• We do not collaborate with ICE or any federal immigration enforcement agencies.
• We do not inquire about immigration status for any of the patients or residents we serve.
• Your health information is private and protected by law under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
• Access to care is your right. We will never deny medical or supportive care based on immigration status.
• ICE agents are not allowed to enter patient care areas or any part of our facilities without a judicial warrant.
• You have the right to remain silent and to speak with an attorney if approached by immigration authorities.
